The early 289 High Performance / HiPo Clutch Equalizer Bar was slightly different from the later one. This bar was used on all 5 bolt HiPo's and some other early cars produced approximately before 8-20-64.
This High quality Classic Mustang Hi-Po Clutch Equalizer Bar made from fabricated steel with natural grey powder coating and precision welds. Made from original Ford prints. This bar has the 6 7/8 inch tube, which is longer than the regular/later HiPo Z Bar with the 6 1/4 inch tube. Features a hidden grease zerk to extend bushing life. This grease fitting was not on the original bar. It can be removed.
